Raymond J. Margiano is the founder and author of Balance Walking and the visionary innovator who brought the Nordic Walking System from Europe. Ray has a BS from the University of New Haven, a MS from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a PhD from Canbourne University. He is also a certified pedorthist, writer, speaker, entrepreneur, and the founder and CEO of Foot Solutions, Inc., the largest world-wide health and wellness franchise for the feet. Ray's philosophy is, "It is easier to do preventative maintenance than it is to fix something after it is broken." Dr. Bill has been the Director of Pedorthic Education at The Academy of Pedorthic Science since August 2000 and is a strong advocate of health and wellness prevention. He incorporates a holistic approach to healing. Dr. Bill has practiced podiatric medicine and surgery since 1970. He was in private practice until 1988 when he joined a group practice. He served as President of the Georgia Podiatric Medical Association and as Chairman of the Podiatric Medical and Surgical Section of Atlanta Hospital for four years.

Krin Patrie is a certified walking coach who enjoys getting people started doing a form of exercise that is easy to stick with. Krin is dedicated to sharing the Balance Walking program because she has seen it change lives. The philosophy is to keep moving because that is the only way to reach a ripe old age. The reality is, "We get one vehicle for our entire trip on earth, so let's give our body what it needs to keep moving for the journey." Krin has a BS from the University of Wisconsin and is a certified Barre Instructor and Balance Walking Coach. She has authored a book about enjoying healthy food because every part of good health should be enjoyable.

Donna Robertson is a consultant to Balance Walking, Inc., as a pedorthics specialist with advanced and unique skills in the sports pedorthics area, as well as in the areas of injury recovery, custom-made orthotics and footwear-related products, diabetic foot issues, and advanced pedorthic solutions. Donna has worked with many sports professionals and is well known throughout the United States for her work and lectures. She is extremely knowledgeable in the sports-related pedorthics area. She received her BS degree in health, physical education, and recreation from the University of North Alabama in 1974, earned her Masters degree in health in 1978, certification as an athletic trainer in 1977, and certification as a pedorthist in 1987.
